Homegroup Healing
At our little worship group we talked about a healing testimony... one that had taken place at the Vineyard Nat'l Conference. One of our friends attending the worship group had a headache. We asked to pray for her and her headache left. Jesus is amazing. Keep it simple. Keep it short. Keep it on Jesus!

Curtis, Nebraska Healing
After a teaching on healing, people were invited to come forward to receive prayer for the Holy Spirit's empowerment. Many within the congregation came forward and received prayer from the ministry team.
Sharon had difficulty regaining full use of her knee following knee replacement surgery and came forward during the time of prayer. Some of the ministry team decided to pray for her healing. The following morning, Sharon noticed that she was able to climb the multiple flights of stairs in her home with a new-found ease. She attributes the improvement to the Lord's ministry of healing from the day before.

Unseen Conference Healings
Here is a list of healing testimonies reported at the Unseen Conference in Goodyear, Arizona:
1. Virginia had a migraine headache and asked for prayer. She was encouraged to take matters into her own hands and say, "Headache, go away in Jesus' name!" She then reported, "It's gone!"
2. Danny was suffering from a torn acl and torn mcl in his knee. After prayer Danny was able to report that he can jump off that knee and that all swelling disappeared.
3. Cynthia received prayer for her knee and reported that it felt much better.
4. Mike was suffering with an intestinal virus. After prayer he indicated that he felt "much better".
5. Moi K. had a word of knowledge that led his ministry team (treasure hunt team) to the baseball aisle at Walmart. They found the guy they were looking for and his symptoms matched the word of knowledge. The guy's shoulder was injured, but after praying, it was no longer injured!!!!

Grand Opening Healing
Pete, 28, came forward with his wife for prayer after the service. Pete, employed as a barber, complained of numbness in his hands. The numbness was affecting his work. The Ministry Team member mentioned that he had a word of knowledge the day before that he would be praying for a person with carpal tunnel syndrome-like symptoms. Sure enough, the Lord gave more insight during the prayer and Pete left with his hands feeling much better!

Testimonies from Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting
Conversation with Doug today at Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting at Vineyard Church in Goodyear. Doug was sitting for a prolonged period today due to back pain/immobility. Doug received prayer today during the Chamber function and said that he felt much improved. What was amazing was Doug's testimonies about being healed from alcoholism and Stage 4 Hodgkin's Disease.
Doug mentioned that while working as a Firefighter in Ojai, CA he struggled with alcoholism. At one point, Doug was asked by another firefighter if he had experienced the 'laying on of hands'. Doug, from a traditional Lutheran background, said 'no'. The co-worker proceeded laying hands on Doug and praying for him. In Doug's mind's eye he saw a demon leave him. From that point on, Doug was cured of alcoholism.
Another account was when Doug was suffering with Stage 4 Hodgkin's. In their bedroom, Doug's wife laid hands on him and prayed. At once a very powerful sulfur smell left Doug's body. The smell was strong enough that their daughter smelled it in another part of the house. Doug was instantly healed of cancer.

Young Man--Close To Death--Healed
I was talking with an old friend from Yuma, Michael Miller. We had since moved to Spokane and He and his family went to Phoenix to work with a church there. "Michael, you need to pray for Gabriel. The doctor's don't know what to do and I think he is dieing." He asked what was wrong.
About a week before Gabriel's High School graduation he came home from school with severe upper abdominal pain. He would tell a doctor later in the ER that on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the worst pain he had ever felt that this was an 8. After a tactile check of his abdomen and not finding anything definite, he was sent for an ultrasound which would also come back with nothing conclusive. He went home with some pain meds and pills for acid reflux. The pain never ceased. He made it through his graduation and went straight home, happy to have the diploma in his hand.
After a visit with his regular doctor he was sent to a specialists. A little over a week had gone by then and the pain never ceased. The specialist scheduled him for endoscopy. It wasn't conclusive, but the the doctor gave him stronger pain meds and stronger acid control pills. In fact, he would visit the doctor several more times over the months, each time stronger pain meds would be prescribed and different bills to help with digestion. The pain was so severe that he couldn't eat and would only take a couple of bites with each meal. They had placed a microchip in his esophagus to monitor for problems with the esophagus: swallowing, acid reflux, etc. They ran a CT Scan. They had him eat radioactive eggs to trace them through his system.
It was August now. Gabriel was on hydrocondone. Later we would find out that he didn't remember any of the summer. What little he does know was from pictures he had taken or notes he would write to himself. He had lost 30 pounds.
"The doctors don't know what to do Michael. But I know that God does." Michael told me about a place in Spokane called the Healing Rooms. They were started by an evangelist in the late 1800s to bring people together to pray for the city. A few days later when I was off from work, Gabriel, his older brother Johnny, and I went over to Spokane to find the Healing Rooms. It was like walking into a doctor's office. The place was much bigger than I thought it would be. There is a conference center on one side. When you enter the main door, to the left is a room with people praying and singing praises to God; they call it the War Room. And then, the "doctor's office" as I would call it. We signed in and explained that we had never been there before. An old man came out to explain that he would take the forms we completed and would pray over them with other people and come back for us after they hear from God. About 15 minutes went by and we were ushered into one of the prayer rooms where the old man and his wife would pray for us. They would pray for each of us and tell us what God told them about each of us. I don't remember all the details but the old man told Gabriel that he was carrying hurt from words that people had said to him. Gabriel disagreed; and really, I would have to agree with Gabriel. He doesn't seem to hold anything and is always cheerful.
Saturday night, my son Nathaniel started talking about fear that he had been dealing with, about all the things that make him afraid. I decided that we had to do something about that and pray. A family meeting started which lasted until 2:00 AM. During the conversation Gabriel mentioned completing college and going back to High School to show his teachers that he wasn't stupid. We knew then that there was something that Gabriel was carrying around. He didn't agree, and his older brother would go on to talk about hurt, how God overcomes and the plans He has for us. We prayed and went to bed.
Sunday morning Laura, Gabe's mother, was making breakfast and I was making pancakes. Footsteps came up the stairs, stopped and went down the stairs. They went up the stairs and back down again. After the third time, we heard light jumping in the hallway. We looked at each other and then to the hallway. Gabriel appeared, smiled; "Hey, watch this," as he bounced up and down a bit. "It doesn't hurt any longer."
He ate. He was hungry. It would be another few months before his weight was back. But he was well. The doctors didn't believe it. Even though we told them that we took him for prayer and that God healed him, they still suggested that we come back when the pain doesn't go away. We could never convince them that the pain had already gone.
No matter, Gabriel is well, still well, and doing well.

Construction Site Healing
Chris was complaining of symptoms similar to appendicitis during a home remodel. The other workers encouraged Chris to go to the emergency room--but before sending him off they laid hands on Chris and prayed for his healing. While in the emergency room the pain completely left and the Dr proclaimed that there was nothing wrong with Chris.

God still heals
Today, Sunday, June 14th we saw two more healings!
Glenda R. has struggled with back/hip pain for sometime. Leon G. and others measured her legs and discovered one was significantly shorter than the other. During a short time of prayer, God straightened things out and Glenda was no longer in pain-even when walking.
Barbara S. was also in extreme pain this morning, and after receiving prayer from Pat S. and others...she was immediately much better!

Scorpion Sting Healed
Roger's foot reacted badly to a scorpion sting. He experieced so much pain and swelling that he visited the emergency room. After struggling over the weekend, Roger attended home group. The group prayed for Roger and the swelling immediately left and his foot regained full movement. Awesome!
A word of knowledge came out of a mid-week prayer meeting regarding an eye. The group prayed for a lady whom they all knew had several eye problems. Later last week, the lady in question, Jo Ireland, reported that her eye was healed. Praise God!
Steve had been suffering headaches due to a neck injury. A word of knowledge was given regarding necks at the end of the service. Steve came forward and he was headache free for the subsequent week. Yeah!

May Healings
Sarah F. is very pregnant and was suffering from dizziness and looking very pale. After receiving prayer from Sandy and Vonne, she felt and looked much better.
Steve C. responded to a word of knowledge regarding a headache. During ministry time his headache left.
A lady approached by the Vineyard Youth and allowed them to pray for her painful tooth. Tooth no longer hurt following prayer.
Albert A.'s hand was painful with arthritis, when Tim H. prayed for him, the hand seemed much improved.
Scott T. responded to a word of knowledge regarding his ear. After ministry with Leon G., Scott's hearing had significantly improved.
Praise God!

Follow Up To Earlier Healing
Last fall Christina and I, along with others from our church attended the Randy Clark School of Healing and Impartation I in Tucson. There I prayed for a lady with an astigmatism. She said that she was healed. At a Patricia King event in March I bumped into that lady again and her eye is still healed. Lord, Show Your Power Even More!
Surprise Healing This Sunday
Brandon G. came to church with a sharp pain in his rib cage. Brandon went forward for prayer at the conclusion of the Sunday AM service. Jim D. prayed for Brandon and then said, "I've never done this before, but God is saying that you are declared 'healed'. So Jim declared Brandon 'healed', and much to his surprise the pain completely left his body!

February Healings
Early in February the Vineyard Church has seen the following healings:
Rick M. received an increase in him respitory capacity and healing in his legs.
Vonne received a mobility increase and pain reduction in her neck and shoulders.
Valerie's sinus problem was healed.
Sherry received healing in her neck.
Christina received significant pain reduction in her neck.
Deb M.'s knee was healed.
Albert A. received healing in his hand.
Awesome!

More Healings
Within the month of September 2007 we've seen a few more healings.
Jason, an elementary-aged boy was healed last night 9/28 of a lump on his belly button. It happened right after three ladies were crying out to God for more sign and wonders.
Stephanie and Jose's approached me (Michael) after church a few weeks back regarding their young daughter who had a lump under the skin of her armpit. We prayed and then I encouraged Stephanie to continue laying hands on her throughout the week. Within two weeks the lump was healed to the point that the doctor said she was all better.
At the Randy Clark School of Healing and Impartation in Tucson:
Pastor John and Becca prayed for a man who had not been able to stand up for more than a short time. He'd had this condition for years. After extensive prayer and ministry, the man testified that he was able to stand for an extended amount of time with no pain. Praise God!
Pastor Irene prayed for a lady who drug her foot when she walked. She was healed and able to walk without limitations!
Christina gave a word of knowledge regarding 'hearing aids'...God wanted to restore somebody's hearing. No one took the word and so Christina was going to her seat when DeDe approached her and said, "That word is for me...will you pray for me?" She was 80% deaf in one ear and 100% deaf in the other. Christina prayed for DeDe and her hearing improved to the point where she took her hearing aids out. The left ear was healed, the right ear was a bit fuzzy. They continued praying. The following day her hearing was 90% restored!
I prayed for a lady who had received healing in one eye during one of Randy's talks. Her other eye still needed healing. I prayed for her astigmatism and God healed her!

Early July Healings
While at the Joy of Jesus Camp, Angela B. began suffering from one of her chronic migrane headaches. According to camp counselors, Angela was experiencing intense pain along with nausea. Pastor Irene prayed for Angela and within minutes her headache was getting better. Instead of giving up, she continued to pray and before long Angela's migrane was completely gone. Angela became immediately excited and testified of God's power to many of her fellow campers!
On Sunday, July 1st, Christina M. and I went on a "house call" to pray for Jo. Jo had been in such intense pain that she was unable to go to church. For over 25 years Jo had suffered from a very painful back that had been diagnosed as a genetic ailment. Christina and I interviewed Jo and then prayed for her. Jo reported back a week later saying that it was the first time she'd been pain free in over 25 years. Praise God!
During my sermon on Sunday I asked for a show of hands of those whom had received healing within the last four weeks. 12 people raised their hands!

More In June
Pastor John had opportunity to pray for his hospitalized aunt. The doctors essentially had given up hope that she would live. John laid hands on his aunt and prayed for her. Her condition immediately improved to the point where her family calls it a miracle.
On Sunday, June 17th, Beth M. received prayer for an irregular heartbeat. I was happy to pray for Beth who has suffered with this condition for decades. The following Sunday Beth reported having no irregular heartbeats during the entire week!
On Sunday, June 24th, Tracy responded to words of knowledge given regarding a painful left eye and a painful skull (top). Just prior to the service, Tracy had injured her eye while spraying her plants with a hose. The pressurized water sprayed her left eye, causing intense pain.
